How does Tarot Work?

Tarot operates on principles that transcend the ordinary. While everyone has their own belief system—be it secular, spiritual, or mystical—all perspectives are welcome here. My role isn't to dictate what you should or should not believe, but rather to respect and honor your views. Through my experience, I've discovered that tarot acts as a portal to wisdom, knowledge, and self-discovery. The exact workings of tarot are a mystery, yet its effectiveness is something that millions and millions of people have experienced, spanning over several centuries, cultures, and continents. If Tarot did not work, then the practice wouldn’t be alive and thriving still to this day.

The evidence I’m confronted with as a professional tarot reader are the moments of profound clarity, healing, and transformation I see in my clients on a daily basis. Instead of trying to figure out how something ‘works’ I just encourage people to leave their expectations at the door and let the experience speak for itself.

What can I expect in a Tarot Reading from you?

I offer two types of readings: a Live Zoom Session (remote) or a recorded video file.

Live Zoom Session is interactive and exploratory, allowing you to ask questions and engage in a discussion tailored to your comfort level. These sessions are more conversational in style, where we can discuss and reflect together. In the live session, I encourage you to interrupt me whenever you have a question or want additional clarification. You'll receive a recording of the session for future reference.

For the recorded video option, you'll fill out a form with your questions or topics at checkout. Based on your input, I'll conduct a reading, record it, and send you the video to watch at your convenience.

How should I prepare for a Tarot reading?

To prepare for a reading, it's best to approach with an open mind, leaving all expectations behind. Acceptance, reflection, and a willingness to be open to new ideas or feelings will enhance your tarot reading experience. Remember, tarot is a collaborative journey. The insights and messages that emerge are for you to explore and connect with. My role is to present these to you, but you must be ready to listen to your heart and mind for a truly meaningful experience.

I dont have a question in mind, do I need to have one in order to get a Tarot Reading?

You dont need to have a question or a topic in mind in order to get a Tarot Reading! These kinds of readings are called ‘open-ended’ and I just pull cards to see what comes up. An event, a topic, a situation, or a challenge that youre currently facing may come up in the reading - open ended readings are always a surprise!

Can Tarot Predict The Future?

As a professional tarot reader with a background in science and engineering, I find the question of accuracy particularly fascinating. I continuously gather data on the outcomes of my readings when I can.Many people consider Tarot to be highly accurate, however the future is not definitive. I like the analogy of comparing Tarot divination similar to forecasting the weather: just because we see clouds in the sky doesn’t mean we are guaranteed it will rain. Tarot can highlight the surrounding energies on a given situation, the probable trajectory or outcome, the elements influencing, challenging, or driving forces that are occurring - and these are all helpful tools to gain an understanding of the future. We also need to take into consideration the element of Free Will in changing one’s fate.

In my practice, I encourage my clients to make up their own minds based on their own experiences and understanding. The future is not set in stone; and free will allows everyone to influence their own destiny. I leave it up to you to decide the value of Tarot for yourself.

What are your policies on payment?

All transactions are final and non-refundable.

What if I need to Cancel or Reschedule a Session?

Appointments may be rescheduled at least 24 hours before our original scheduled session. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your session will be considered a no-show and can be rescheduled only once. 

Any topics that are Off Limits?
